It's funny, in my 360 fan boy days I didn't even give MS any money anyway.
All systems were used, ripped apart and flashed with iXtreme firmware. eBay sellers got more money out of me than MS/publishers, for the DVD+R DL discs.
My gamertag from 2006-2009 I paid for about 6 months worth of XBL gold, I had other people buy me subscriptions or there was that 1 month Netflix scam which had my account gold until 2012 ("end of the world"
I did pay for Microsoft points, there was no way to get free XBLA games or DLC then. And I needed those added achievements to my pirated full games, yo!
My Microsoft point money was funded by selling pirated DVD+R DL games/flashing consoles.
Then when my account got banned in 2009 for pirating games I decided I'd get a PS3. I wish I'd stayed with the PS3 from then instead of flip flopping between the 360 and PS3 for 4 years before settling with the Playstation Trifecta.
