To me the PC is Superior to consoles for 3 reasons,

1 - NO RESTRICTIONS - AKA ADULT GAMES you will NEVER see on a console (officially).

2 - UPGRADEABLE - You cant upgrade a existing consoles parts to make it better.

3 - EMULATION - You can emulate (Almost) every console in existence, Sure some Emus are far from perfect but that's what progress is for

I have a (weak) PC, but I hardly use it for playing. It just seems more fun to me somehow playing on the PS3.
Plus, you can't play Current gen console exclusives on a PC. At this point we haven't even got last gen yet, and it'll probably still be a long time till both are done.

Also yeah, PS+ often gets better deals than steam, plus oodles of free content. Both are good services, but I think PS+ is a better one just for the free crap.
I mean, everyone on steam went nearly rabid when L4D2 was free, and people were getting in my face about how this proves steam is better, then the next month PS+ is like: "you know that one shooter that one a few GOTY awards? Here, you can have it for free!"
