Films are good because: more money.
But tv shows (animation or not) that I actually like are even better in a way, because they last longer.

Spoiler warning:
Actually with the budgets of some TV shows like LOST and Game of thrones that's untrue, budgets don't necessarily a great film make, take the last Pirates of Carribean for example. The reason I prefer them is I think overall I've seen a much greater variation of stories in films than anything else. Like you said the one weakness films have compared to a lot of other media is length of time, tv shows, books & games beat films in that respect that character development can happen more slowly and more realistically since you will notice more subtle changes than what a film can allow for.
It is kinda offensive given its origin. Same as kraut I guess.
But most of the younger people (Japanese/Germans) don't find it offensive.
Also; you don't talk about the war with the older folk
Aussies tend to use little things like "pom" and "yank" at times, but we don't seriously mean it in an offensive way. It's just playful banter.

Spoiler warning:
I barely even watch anime these days, and even the ones I did watch recently were nothing special. I'm hardly an anime fan these days to be quite honest, I just can't find myself be excited about it anymore. Most of them are just too shallow for my taste, and I find more enjoyment in the more detailed/deeper/darker themes found in VNs that aren't held back by the limitations of the anime industry.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
Started a run of Bugs Bunny. The very first one was black and white from 1938 and Bugs looks nothing like Bugs. He's a little white rabbit. Interesting stuff.
Course they do. The voices have to come from somewhere
