I went and watched the sneak preview of Lone Survivor.
I had no idea that a movie could stir up so much emotion inside me. Maybe it's because of the obvious, maybe it's because I could see a bit of myself in those men, but I almost teared.
Was definitely worth it.

Spoiler warning:
"I am... Sheik. One of the last of the Sheikah tribe..."
I think you are getting the wrong idea here. It's just the timing of the whole thing. I don't laugh at any of the actual people who might look like that. Nor do I find shemales or any type or transgender person to be something to be laughed at. I wasn't trying to be offensive or anything, just trying to say the scene was a tiny bit funny in a rather dull show and to start a conversation with someone who's watched it in the best case scenario. If I knew it would of offended someone I would never have posted it. I really didn't mean no harm. As I've said multiple times in the past throughout multiple forums, everyone is equal no matter what. Everyone has the same opportunities in life, it's up to the person if they want to take some.
Really, I didn't mean to offend anyone. Sorry.
While all of that is perfectly sound reasoning to have insecurities about being different, because the world IS full of narrow minded imbeciles, it's not healthy to let it make you self-conscious enough to see prejudice where there is none. I understand why one would see shadows in every corner in a dark world, but the video in question wasn't mockery in any fashion--he's sexually attracted to an androgynous character, but not to the gender demographic. It's perfectly natural to be attracted to somebody with features of the opposite sex, and it's perfectly acceptable to be gender exclusive (our PC society will eventually be railing against straight people for being different).
Just last night SoT posted a girly guy, and I made a self deprecating sexuality joke--but there's nothing more to that than to that scene in Steins;Gate, situational irony.
I'm not criticizing your feelings, as you have every right to them... but I think they may be a bit misdirected.
Sorry if any of that sounded insensitive, I just meant it as a logical look at the topic.
And Spose, it gets better. Much better. Ganbatte!
I keep reading it as "The Fuck Out"
Proposed title change: Get The Fuck Out
