The key words here are "entirely optional microtransactions". You can get any car in the game just by playing. The more/better you play, the more Cr. you earn and the more cars you'll be able to purchase. As always.

We've seen many games that offer something like this just to speed the progression process up. A good thing for those with little patience and money to waste but it's harmless for traditional players.

Some of us have. You normally just have to decide whether you want to GRIND FOREVER or shell out for premium shit.

Microtransactions are fine if they aren't super necessary or the developers don't make it bullshit hard/annoying to get something without them.

Which is often the problem. You can grind away doing unfun shit for 20 hours (which may involve you getting shafted by items/perks/whatever you don't have that other players do) or you can give me 5 dollars. In some cases, this can also mean waiting forever for the RNG stars to align juuuuust right for that super mega ultra rare item to drop which you need. Or I could just pay the piper. But I'd rather just not play your game at all, thanks.
