In my continued attempts to figure out what the fuck is happening, I tried a few disc based games and a couple more graphically intensive HDD based games to see what the dealio is.
Apparently everything works except the one game I was trying to play.
HAR HAR HAR.
Well, guess I should consider in investing in a replacement disc (or a digital version) seeing as it's cheap-ish.
Totally not cool on this shit though. For a while there I was concerned my shit was more fucked than it was.
On the plus side, my PS3 got a de-dusting of epic proportions. So that's a bonus I guess.

I have the back panel disabled. Anyway in Lego LOTR you can play almost everything without touching the screen, I think I only touched it when selecting extra characters in Free Play mode.I played some more lotr on the vita today. I really don't like touch screens
