I WANT TO GO HOME
I have considered an external fan, but I don't have any good sources for one. Plus most of them are shit and just suck in a load of dust which opens up a whole host of OTHER problems.
Bethesda games worked better than this, but then I haven't had any problems with their games on PS3 anyway aside from the occasional RAM related lock up. I got about 2/3 of the way through the first "mission" and had it crash about 20 times. New Vegas only gets chuggy when I play for about 5 or 6 hours straight. Actually when I first got the game I played through this same area without incident and I just recently blew through AC:B's DLC. So yeah. Probably just some weird quirk of my system. It's old as shit and it's not like I let it sit idly. Almost a decade of wear and tear'll do that. Hell prude alone put about 500 hours of use on it last year.![]()

What games are coming out for Xmas? Something of the atlus or Bethesda variety for 360 or 3DS. Imay also be getting a WiiU but not for sure.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
