I'm not really the one to ask honestly. I don't see a difference between the wii u and the Ps4. I don't know the difference between 1080i and 1080p either or any of the stuff people complain about. It looks good to me, but I've watched footage of people playing the ps3 version and it looks identical to me. I usually can't even tell which version someone is playing.

It totally depends on the games you're playing.... any of the multi platform games are just basically higher res versions of the current gen stuff. CoD Ghosts looks identical to the 360 and PS3 versions, AC4 is just a little sharper and has much better draw distances, and NFS Rivals from what I can tell looks pretty similar, but the PS4 version has much better lighting and weather effects. BF4 is night and day though - 30fps vs 60, plus a much improved draw distance. BF4 on PS4 looks just about as good as it does on PC. The game looks like shit on the current consoles in comparison.

Now, the exclusives knock it out of the park though. Killzone uses some really fancy lighting and shadows, and is a good demonstration of where the PS4 is headed. Knack looks good too - bright and vibrant, with tons of movable objects/particle effects. I'm pretty sure the game was made with that in mind... and only that lol. Oh, and something else to consider - watching footage of any of these games on youtube or IGN, even on 1080p settings doesn't do any of these games justice. I watched the Killzone footage a few weeks ago and thought to myself, "this doesn't look all that great", but then when you actually get the game on your TV it looks leaps and bounds better.

Don't worry Inferno, the system looks good.

And to answer your question Cookie, yes the system is quiet. I only hear it spin a disc every once in awhile. It's not like the old 360s, where it sounds like a train is coming through your living room

Only work 2 days this week. Took a vacation day tomorrow to have my pre-taxes done for some Christmas shopping money, work Tuesday and Wednesday, off Thursday and Friday for turkey eatings

Actually, now that I think about it, I only have one full work week till January. This week I covered, next week we have Friday off for the the company Christmas party the following week I'm on vacation, the next week I work all week, then Christmas week and New Year's Day.

Yes, since it only checks the disc is present in the drive, then stops spinning it.
