Almost all Corsas here are 1.2 SXIs. You're hard pressed to find one that's SRI, they're normally just 1.2 SXIs with angel eye lights and spoilers and other tacky shit.

I rarely see the SRIs around because they're 1.4/1.8? and too expensive for chavs to insure.

Got a 40% refund from Amazon. They failed to properly pack my order and left out the green tea samples. Pretty sad.

A GSi or SRi...I'm not really sure, but it has the powerful 1.8l ecotec engine.

I like the look of the 2 litre turbo engine out of a Calibra, shoved in the front of a Corsa.

    2.0 L C20LET I4 (turbocharged petrol)

That's the one they normally shove into Corsas, although I've seen some with these engines too:

    2.0 L 20XE I4 (petrol)

Probably have to pull the engine to change the timing belt
Just kidding, I really don't know.

I'm pretty sure that's the case with larger engines (2l Accent or whatever) shoved into the smaller Hyundai Excel cars that originally had 1.5's or something like that.

Can't put the larger engines into the Corsa here without a cert.
Those engines weren't a factory option for that model, so cert is required for power increase (maybe brake mods are required too, idk).

There's so many of them on Gumtree, seems to be popular among the chavs here.

That's all? Shit, my car has 290,000kms on it (I think... somewhere around there), and it's only a 2003.

My Grandad's 2001 has 40,000 miles, 1 owner since new.

And it's completely knackered and being scrapped next summer

Also, according to my online banking statement, "if you make the minimum monthly payment, it will take you 20 years and 7 months to pay off the amount owing."

I've been the second or third owner on both of my cars. My last one ('97 Lumina) started costing too much in upkeep, so I sold it. It was sitting at around 270K. This one, I'm the second owner ('03 Impala LS), and it's still running like a dream. Bit of a gas guzzler though. I'm going to sell it sometime next year or the year after and get something smaller. Not entirely sure what yet.

I've only ever had one car with over 300k on it myself.
But I had completely rebuilt the engine by that stage. And had the gearbox reco'd.

I think cars get scrapped around 100,000 miles here. If not before.

Didn't know you were in Japan bro

Seriously though; 6's and 8's tend to last longer before needing major engine work (but it depends on the quality of the drivetrain).
4cyl's don't last long before needing a rebuild. 3's and 2's even less. And rotaries need rebuilding quite often.
