Got another one HaMM3r might like.

What's impressive is that, like my buddy Susumu Hirasawa, she does everything herself. It takes a lot of talent to be a one-person band without strapping cymbals to your knees.

@Ikusagami: Huh, didn't know about that tidbit. Pretty interesting. I saw some live concerts of Hirasawa and the dude is amazing.

Also that song brings back all sorts of memories, as Bloodlines is honestly one of my favorite games of all time. I personally like the Hollywood theme quite a bit for being so chill.

Dammit now you're making me wanna do my nth playthrough of the game.

I actually never finished it. I hit one of those game-killing glitches; go into a place before you're supposed to, and the game thinks you've passed everything up to that point, cutting off cutscenes needed to advance.
It left me unwilling to retry, because there are evidently a ton of other bugs I didn't encounter, and don't really care to. It's a shame, because it's a really great game, it just needs to have those bugs ironed out.
I did see the endings watching a friend play though.
    KABOOM!!!

And you're damn lucky to have seen Hirasawesome.
That guy is Beethoven level genius.

When I saw Berserk, I thought, "hey, it's great to see an anime with a grand symphony orchestra instead of generic J-Pop," . . .and it's just one guy putting on a light show.
    --he's probably a hologram, like Hatsune Miku. . .
...much like Stephen Hawking is just an advanced AI built into a chair using an invalid as a cover.

The bugs have been ironed out as far as I know, there's a hefty 200+MB fan-made/unofficial patch out there (the latest version of it came out very recently, actually, as fan support for this game persists to this day). http://www.patches-scrolls.com/vampire_bloodlines.php

I'm not sure how far you got, but you really ought to give it another go. It's full of awesome moments.

Oh no, I meant I saw a video of his concert. I'm not lucky enough to have met him in person.

    That. Is. Fantastic.
I checked a few years ago, because I figured somebody would try to fix it (hell, people still work on the Thiefs [god it feels awkward pluralizing that game!]), but couldn't find anything at the time.
I'll definitely add it to the list, as I've always wanted to do a proper playthrough. God knows when I'll actually get to it though.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

As for Hirasawa, I'd rather attend a Hatsune Miku concert, even though I don't give a damn about her music--I just want to test the legal loopholes in assaulting a non-human, non corporeal pop star!

I actually like Miku quite a bit... Some of her tunes are pretty catchy. And as far as Thief is concerned I believe the new hot thing is rather The Dark Mod. If you look it up you'll see.

Anyway, on-topicness before we get yelled at:

Maybe a little too much "electro" for my personal taste but it is intreasting the "one-person-band" thing, like Vikernes did in most of the Burzum albums (nothing in comparison with the music video you posted but its the same way of creating their music by themselves recording every track).

Talking about the "techno-industrial" things, I do like some Rammstein's songs from their old albums, like this one for i.e:

In fact Sehnsucht its a really good album, IMO

A variation of Steadfast by Nujabes. It's not a super contemporary song, but if you like spiffy piano playing, its a great song.
    Sadly, there is no link...
