    Maaaaaaan that's terrible.

Picked up another Saturn today, some genny games and a bunch of random first party controllers for different systems.

Decided to grab Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike (GCN) £5.50 posted and Golden Sun (cart only) for GBA, £7.49 posted from eBay.

Donated a dollar and got the latest Humble Bundle weekly sale, only really wanted to try out RAW. And for 65p, why not.

EDIT: Crysis Maximum Edition from Steam for £3.49, very intrigued by Crysis Warhead. And I loved Crysis, so why not.

Picked up Beyond Two Souls, Deadly Premonition and Lollipop Chainsaw (all PS3). It's getting close to Halloween so I wanted some games that were at least horror themed for the occasion. Beyond is pretty good, but it's not really a game - If you've played Heavy Rain then you'll feel right at home here.

Haven't tried the other two, but Lollipop was only $10 and Deadly Premonition was $15. I know they're both pretty divided when it comes to review scores, but last Halloween I picked up Splatterhouse (which got awful reviews everywhere) and I almost had more fun with it than any other game I had played all year. So here's hoping for the best

Yeah I had a lot of fun with Lollipop Chainsaw, it's really underrated. The combat feels kind of clunky at first but once you start unlocking new moves it gets a lot more fluid.

That's pretty much exactly like Splatterhouse - it starts off and seems a bit wonky and repetitive, but then you start getting combos and whatnot and the game just turns into a blood ballet

Gamestop sent me a 20% off birthday coupon; the perfect excuse to finally get The Last of Us.
Great game, so far, except for the linear rigidity--it SEEMS open-ended and free, but the instant you try to stray from the script, it bites you hard in the face and bitchslaps you until you do things the way it wants.

Couldn't resist any longer and bought myself Resident Evil 5 from Steam for £3.49.

I hope I can get through it before GFWL gets axed. And I hope Capcom patch out the horrific GFWL client when it's shutdown, too.

EDIT: Went on an eBay rampage with some money from selling a motherboard.

    • Golden Sun The Lost Age Gameboy Advance £8
    • DuckTales Gameboy £6
    • Gargoyle's Quest Gameboy £4.70
    • R-Type III Gameboy Advance £5.99

And I'm hoping to snag a copy of PN03 in auction for the Cube very shortly. I've been a fan of this game since it was released!

Resident Evil Revelations, just barely managed to grab it during the last 30 minutes of the Steam sale. Also got the two character DLCs because they were piss cheap and I figured I might end up trying multiplayer.

    Also, AC3 earlier this week.

Edit: Dead Rising 2 on today's Steam sale.

Had £3 left in PayPal, noticed Ace Combat Assault Horizon Enhanced Edition on sale in Steam for £2.49, so I thought why not. I'll hopefully get through it in my quest to play what I can of the GFWL games in Steam before they're killed off thanks to GFWL going down.

    EDIT:

Added £25 to my PSN account and spent £0.64 on the basic Humble Weekly Sale pack.

EDIT: Is anyone ever gonna post bar me?

Picked up: Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and BlazBlue for the Vita yesterday while out and about. Then today I received Dragon's Crown (Vita) with daft huge artbook and a play and charge kit for 360 that I ordered yesterday from Shopto.
