Yep! Technology ages, but striking or unique art design never goes out of fashion~ Pretty much the same reason that Xenoblade wowed me much more visually than many PS3 titles.

Totally agreed on Xenoblade. It looks especially good running in Dolphin too.

I used to play TJ&E a lot with my roommate back when we were just kids. Though I hadn't played it in over a decade. We were on a retro game run, so I figured some TJ&E was in order. I had forgotten just how awesome that game is. In fact I might have to play some more of it tonight. Need to get all those ship pieces!

Looking back on Toejam and Earl 2, I actually feel like it was a pretty good game. It just wasn't what I was looking for at all after the first one, and a big let down as a result.

Yeah, my cousin had the second one. Although I really didn't mind it and had fun playing it with him back in the day. It really wasn't the kind of sequel I was looking for either. I want a true sequel to TJ&E. Or at least an HD remake for PS3 with trophy support. Heck, if Earthworm Jim can get the HD treatment TJ&E sure as heck deserves it.
