Yeah pretty much...I mean I knew it was awful when I was a pre-teen. I think they were called something else back then and this is actually a new and different team.

There are waaaaaaay too many leagues for every sport. I get the feeling that if you have almost any interest and athletic ability you could play at some "professional" level.

I'm excited. Last night was some sloppy playing, but there are glimmers of hope, especially out of some new guys (Gazdik and Joensuu especially). We won the majority of the face offs, which kind of showed with our whopping 38 shots on goal. Third line looked strong, all other lines looked kind of... bleh. Too many turnovers, too much time sitting back letting them come to us in our own zone, too much time in the box, and too many holes in our goalie. Against a stronger team we would have been annihilated, instead of giving up the game by 1 goal.Drag's Oilers are going to be very fun to watch this year if the first game was any indication.
We've got a lot of great players, though. I think once we get settled in under Eakins and he finds the chemistry in the lineups, we're going to be a force.
