That makes perfect sense, I would assume the rule was implemented to keep overall cleanliness and to discourage spam. That might be something that is overlooked a lot of the time.

Also, if people were allowed to double post outside the HO it would be easy for them to inflate their post count.

Which is the discourage spam part I would assume. I guess you guys(the staff) could consider allowing the original poster of a help thread double post if it fits a specific criteria? It might be useful for the same reasons Zala stated.

Individual staff members are particular about discouraging different things.

I don't like double posts or posts that only have a smiley outside the HO.
But in the case of reviving old threads (necro posting), I don't really care. Even though it isn't allowed.

Yeah it's been a fairly long time, I tend to just fall off the face of the site because I get very caught up in whatever I'm doing at the time. Decided to stop by again and break the habit of disappearing.

Yeah they haven't done anything notable since the merger... except my all-time favorite FF game.

Which I'm guessing was mostly due to Matsuno's genius but still.

Don't get me wrong though, I do miss the PSX Final Fantasies.

As for Sakaguchi, all I have to say is lol Last Story lol. What an absolute toxic waste of a game.

Decided to tidy up my Vita memory card a bit. Got rid of: Jak HD Trilogy, New Little King's Story and Lego Lord of the Rings. Not my kinds of games, and I was running really low on space!
