Let's see I recently picked up GTA V(PS3) and Guitar Hero: Metallica(X360). Good games. I've been playing GTA V mostly.

Yeah not a great game, but certainly better than Aliens vs Predator imo
I'm a fan of the Alien movies myself.

Yeah I've heard nothing but bad things about the last AvP. Shame because the older games were really good, especially the second one.

I thought AvP was pretty crap, but playable. I did finish it.

I thought Aliens Colonial Marines was utterly diabolical. I barely finished it.

Eh it seems alright so far, I mean it's pretty rough around the edges but it captures the feel of Aliens well enough and the sound is spot on. This is on PC with all the patches that supposedly make it tolerable though.

I played it on 360 and I didn't have any problems Yeah not a great game, but I agree with the highlighted bit of your post.
AvP was terrible, much like the movies of that series

Probably enjoyed Colonial Marines more than the recent Star Trek game (and I'm a bigger fan of that particular franchise).

    Edit:
Traded a couple of games and got:

    The Godfather II.
    Hitman HD Trilogy.

ASDA's pre owned section wasn't so bad today.

Heavy Rain was £5, wish I didn't already have it!

Also had Hot Pursuit on PS3 for £5 which I also left behind.
I did however grab House of the Dead OverKill (PS3) in like new condition and Deus Ex Human Revolution (PS3) for £5 a piece.

Bump 'n' Jump is one of my all time favourite games.

Such great memories of playing that when I was a kid. I should track down a copy.

Should've mentioned that to me, I had a copy that was sold during a garage sale...

No worries. It's a fairly common game, I just haven't come across a reasonably priced copy lately. I can pick it up complete for about $20-$25. Just gonna wait until I find one with reasonable shipping.

    Crimson Gem Saga
    Class of Heroes
    Ys Ark of Napishtim
    Mana Khemia Student Alliance (lol)

    All PSP and CIB.

Couple were doubles (Ys, CoH) but the prices were too good to pass up. Already involved Ys in a trade valuing it at about 3 times what I paid for it.

Picked up a bunch of cart-only NES commons from JJGames. I went the cheap route and tried to get games that writing/stickers on them. Though at least JJGames now shows pics of the carts you have in your shopping cart. So you can tell if a cart is un-cleanable. Found a $6 off promo code. So everything was only $50.10 shipped, not too bad really. Including the games below, I'll be at 281 unique carts.

    720
    Airwolf
    Black Bass
    Castlequest
    Demon Sword
    Fast Break
    Gotcha
    Gyruss
    Heavy Shreddin'
    Hogan's Alley
    Hydlide
    Iron Tank
    Joust
    Karate Champ
    Klax
    Lunar Pool
    Milon's Secret Castle
    Pro Wrestling
    Racket Attack
    Top Gun The Second Mission
    Trojan
    Ultimate Basketball
    Wheel of Fortune
