I've been having a really rough time there lately. I needed the additional time off on my terms to feel like I was in control again.

That, and 2 of the 3 people I hate working with are on shift today. Couldn't bring myself to do it.

'sides, I haven't called in sick in almost two years. I was due. The loss on my paycheque is going to sting a little, though.
