I started Final Fantasy VII on the Vita before. Love this game. Graphics are absolutely horrible though. Why did they go for these LEGO men like models?

Budget limitations at the time, probably. Was already a massive budget game for a company that, at the time, wasn't the powerhouse it is today financially. At least the pre-rendered backdrops still look nice, I guess~ I'm glad they didn't go full 3D, as that would have aged even less well. :'D

It was designed for the N64 and switched to PS very late in development.

Hey, Inferno, did you finally get Chrome in Linux yet? It's definitely available.

I installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my desktop, really impressed with it so far. It seems fairly similar to OS X in a lot of ways. I might try either Ubuntu or Mint on the netbook and see if it gets me using the thing again. Windows 7 runs beautifully but it just feels cluttered on such a small screen.

Windows 7 works fine on mine too but it's just slow when you have more than one tab open online. It's a lot more usable with Linux Mint on, but not perfect. But that's what you get for trying to use a 1.6GHz Atom in 2013 I suppose.
