He was really excited to start, so hopefully it lives up to his expectations. I think he'll enjoy it. He's a very sociable kid. I think it'll do wonders for his speech, too. Which is arguably the one area he's a bit behind in when compared to other kids his age.

Also, total count is 279, including 4 games that I'm still waiting on arriving (Adventures of Lolo 1-3 and Wrecking Crew). Should break 300 by the end of the year, I think.

I have no idea what they do in kindergarten. My understanding is learning how to share, basic numbers (writing them and identifying them), basic letters (writing and identifying), and... other mindless activities. Things have changed since I was in kindergarten -- we used to only go in for 3 hours, these days they go in for 6. I'm not sure what they do to fill all that time.

Well, so far I really like working childcare. It's hard work, but the kids really grow on you. One of the dads that came in was really mean to his kid when he was picking her up. It was definitely verbal abuse. I was really mad but I couldn't say anything to him.
