Oh, but you must! Drag is teaching us the inner workings of ham and ham-like meat products.

Take everything that you wouldn't normally feed to a person, because it's difficult to separate a worthwhile amount of meat from the bone or whatever.

Separate it from the bone or whatever.

Grind all the meat together (usually pork and chicken, sometimes beef as well for the big companies). Mix until basically a liquid.

Package into very, very thin casings.

Feed to children with no taste buds.

The number of customers I get who actually think it is blood is astounding.

There's a special machine used for the "mix until liquid" part, but I'm having trouble remember its name. Mainly because most shops don't have one (they're ridiculously expensive). Something like "the emulsifier," but not as gross sounding.

Stop, stop you're making me so hungry!

I actually still like hotdogs once in a while. Don't care what they're made of.

I still like them if they're barbecued. That's about the only way I'll eat it, though. And I prefer smokies.

Dallas likes to eat them cold.

...and all this time when my mom asked me. "Son would you like to drink the blood out of the beef roast bag?" she was lying to me? Why must you ruin my childhood!
