I've never had tapwater in Hungary, obviously, but the quality of your water definitely affects its taste. I don't like our city water either, but the filtered water at work is good. And we had a well at my Dad's when I was a kid and that was always okay. I can sympathize with someone who might be "picky" about their drinking water.

And I couldn't really freakin care less about how long it takes for a plastic bottle to decompose.
