It's funny that gluttony is a sin.
But it can apply to numerous things. Gluttony can be simply labelled as "excess" if you want to get somewhat loose with the terminology (which the actual bible did). Any time you take more than your share or prevent others from getting enough because you horde, you're being a glutton. If your wants take precedence over the needs of others, you're a glutton.
By this logic, we're all damned. See ya in hell!![]()
Thus far, extremely so.
There's a load of hidden trophies but thus far it appears they're all "beat level, get trophy". The Professional modes are still way easier than any previous Hitman games (and you don't have to go that high in difficulty to get the obligatory high difficulty trophy). There's no "get SA on all missions" as far as I can tell, and even if there was, it looks like that won't even be that hard to pull off anyway. With how overpowered the combat has become, you can probably speed run the game in a matter of hours just doing slow-mo tagged headshots on the targets and everything in the immediate area. The online ones are incredibly easy (I got like 5 in the last half hour). And the online Contracts mode is somewhat cool. Plus I just shoved out an easily accomplished mission that's worth 300K+ where you only need to amass a million for one trophy. So even the seemingly grindy one is pretty easy if you've got a good map or two.
Seems like it'll be an incredibly easyand a somewhat enjoyable game all in all. I'm pleasantly surprised.
But dear god, that plot.
"Diana went rogue and screwed the agency big time. So I murdered her. And then I went rogue and screwed the agency big time. What? No, I didn't stop to ask why she went rogue or consider a team-up. I killed her because we needed some stakes raising drama up in here!"
And nowhere in there did you think to, I dunno, call? Write a letter? Something? Just to ask why exactly she burned that bridge? I mean, c'mon bro the last thing she did was save you from that totally-not-dead coma.
And I was able to suspend my disbelief over how stupid that whole thing was more than I can over this.
Even worse when you realize that the agency being DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNN backed by the villain has been the plot twist of like 3 of the last 4 games. Is it STILL shocking that they (the global secret society of contract killers who happen to be deeply entrenched with the criminal element and shifty politicians) might be the villains? I mean, really? YOU LIVE IN A UNIVERSE WHERE THE ONLY FORM OF EVIL IS CARTOONISHLY EVIL. How is this not apparent by now?. You're supposed to be a super genuis. Is the 48th chromosome responsible for genre awareness?
And that's the tutorial level.
