There is! I quite liked the first two series, and thought they did a really good job of depicting otaku, warts and all.Given that the characters in the other series were actually quite well rounded and sympathetic by the end, I was quite happy to see him / her (Not really sure if the character is supposed to be a crossdresser or actually transgender. Nor am I sure that the author really understands the difference) introduced, as I thought maybe the author would put a more mature spin on the story. But given the fact that a large chunk of the first episode was anti-transgender jokes and other characters talking about how much of a freak this character was, I'm not exactly enthusiastic to continue.
