So Beelze, what's the deal with Aerofighters 3? I see people got scammed on it hard (for fakes no less) but then I checked E-bay and it isn't anywhere near that. I assume different cart type or something? TIA.

I find Chicago is arrogant. The only thing I dislike about cheering for Boston is that they have Patrice Bergeron. I can't see "Bergeron" without thinking of Marc-Andre Bergeron, and the Oilers 2006 miracle run. Then I get sad.

Just gave some of his stuff a listen. Pretty good, but a bit too frantic for my tastes.

That was probably the Japanese version of AoF3 for AES(NeoGeo home system) that you saw. A US version of AoF for the AES was never actually released by SNK. Then some guy named David G supposedly finds 3(then later 3 more) US AES AoF3 "pre-production" homecarts in his "storage". Complete in box and everything, claiming they're official. 6 people each bought a cart, for around 20-30k each. Granted, these people never actually saw the cart before they paid David G the money through his middleman(Tonk). Who also took a cut of the money. After all of this about 4 months later. One of those six people, a NG.com member named Chamane. Came forward and did a report supposedly proving that the AoFs that David G had sold were indeed fakes and that they had all been scammed. There was of course arguments on both sides trying to prove or disprove that they were fake/real.

    More info

I've read through all of this drama and in my opinion and from everything that's been shown and discussed. I think that the AoF3 US carts are indeed fake.

EDIT: Still, who in their right mind spends 20-30k on something that they didn't see first? Supposedly a couple reputable "experts" verified that the carts were "most likely" real.

I don't give a shit who said they're real. If I don't see the product I'm not buying it, period. I swear, some people have more money than brains.

They were mostly MVS carts, and some JP AES.

Yeah I read the entire thread you linked to earlier, then was looking for old threads regarding the AF3 situation. I just wasn't sure why it would be so valuable, but this makes sense. And yeah I have no doubts after reading everything that those were fake.

How has Boston failed to score so far? They've had so many great chances.

I love Oduya's name. There's great potential for a "Who's on first?" type joke with it.

Someone smarter than me should get started on that.
