Ah yeah, no worries then. Goodwill is pretty good for that kind of shit.

Ok, so heres the deal. I have this email of a man that I befriended and impressed with my motivation, charisma and hardworking. His wife is the HR rep or something like that of a large chain of engineering firms. It has been nearly a year since he asked for my resume because I completely forgot, but apparently he asked my previous employer if I had tried contacting him. I need to make him believe that I am still an impressive and intelligent gentleman so that his wife will hire me. What should I say?

But seriously, if he was so interested you, you probably have left the right impression already. Just be yourself, I guess.

You know, I still haven't seen the first Hobbit movie.

I should remedy this... one day... maybe...

You're not missing much. Unless you enjoy long drawn out scenes, singing dwarf musical numbers and annoying CG characters

I was actually getting so bored with the movie I started fast forwarding through parts.

Yeah I was just talking about this on Skype. It's not great, blablabla Peter Jackson did things I'm generally okay with them etc...It's worth seeing overall.

Yeah, the CG orcs were DISAPPOINT.

And yeah, Jackson is STRETCHING it, to be expected when you are fitting one long movie's worth of content into 3 movies somehow. He's def trying to make this a prequel to his LOTR.

I downloaded it and started watching it with my son, but fell asleep within the first thirty minutes and woke up in the last ten minutes.

Something tells me I didn't miss much.

I watched it without even realizing it's not complete. When it was finished I was like: "Weren't there more in the book? ". I ended up rereading some parts from the book to remember what it was about. The book is somewhat childish in tone compared to film, and is a bit overrated IMO. I have read it in my native language though, so I might be missing things.

The hobbit I think is supposed to be a bit more lighthearted than the lord of the rings.

Dammit trying to find a decent print of the painted world of Ariamis. I want to get a decent frame as well and hang it up in my front room.
