They played amazingly well and pushed two of the best teams in the league to Game 7 in a year where they barely made the playoffs. This Detroit team is going to be a powerhouse, and I would not be surprised to see them ranked as one of the top teams in the league in the next couple years.

I'm still waiting on my Oilers being playoff contenders going into our fourth straight "rebuilding" year.

It's a little bleeding in the color, but I think there's an option to correct that in the PS3 settings. Plus I'm only on a 720p tv. It seems rather simple and looks almost like a slightly more zoomed in version of games of the type from years ago. I'm only in the beginning so maybe it'll get better once I'm out in the world and see what the monsters are like etc. Things seemed rather simplistic in terms of the characters and even a bit dull, and it's not that sharp - it's not even a patch on Demons Souls which I guess is around the same time.

It looks as if it were a PS2 game being played on an lcd tv.
It won't get better. There's a lot to love about DA:O, but the graphics are very out-dated. It definitely felt like a bargain-bin PS2 title in that regard. Thankfully, everything else about it is fun, and there is a lot of content. Did you grab the Ultimate Edition, or just the standard?

Are you talking about the stock AES NEO Stick? If so I'm not sure if it uses microswitches or not. I'm leaning towards no though. Although I have seen plenty of Sanwa modded ones. My custom MAS sticks have that wonderful microswitch clicky-ness to them though. When I got them they had barely even been used.
I cracked the cart vacuum. Very upset with myself too so I shall retire early tonight.

    They're only quad-gate joysticks though.

Just the standard. I'm actually starting to get into it. Or was, as I haven't played it since yesterday. I may restart and build my character differently/different class.

If you had the right console you could just all the extra content. It's DRM free

Also I think (from memory) you need to play through with the different characters for achievements.
I assume ps3 is the same sorta thing...you should probably look it up I guess.

I love signing in on the computer once a month or so.

Reading reputation comments after you've completely forgotten their context is oddly amusing.

Yeah they're separate. No way I'm going through the game that many times.

Also, Elin, could you help me with something having to do with Japanese language? I only need to know what Chaos would be written in Japanese. If you could help me I'll give you a hug.
There are lots of different ways to express that idea (chaos, confusion, anarchy, etc...), but I think the most common one is probably just カオス (chaos spelt out according to its original Greek pronunciation in katakana). Not very interesting, being that it doesn't use any kanji or anything, but it's the one I see most often for chaos in the way that I think you mean it.

    I'll take that hug now.

You only have to play through the intro 6 times. Otherwise, as long as you don't repeat your decisions, you only have to beat the game twice.
