Help with running game on PCSX2.

I'm trying to play Final Fantasy X with the PCSX2 emulator, my PS2 broke. I have the actual disc of it, and I've gotten it as far as it's play the disc, but than the emulator will just show the regular screen, like when a ps2 has no disc in it, and it wont register that theres a disc in the memory card section, any one know whats wrong?

You probably need to tell pcsx2 the correct drive to look for the disc in. Try going to the CDVD menu and selecting the option that says "plugin". Then go back into the CDVD menu and select plugin menu and click on plugin settings. Then pick out your the letter of the drive you have the disc in from the drop down menu. After all that start pcsx2 and enjoy.

wheres the CDVD menu? I don't see it anywhere.

it should be at the top of pcsx2 when you open it up, right next to the system menu.
