Playable, yes - but by far the worst GoW game made, IMO. It just feels VERY stale, and nothing of any real interest happens. Also, there's no "wow" moments or really cool bosses to speak of....

I forgot to mention I bought Red Dead Redemption and the expansion Undead Nightmare. I've played RDR before, but never UN. They were pretty cheap, so I figured it was worth it

Yeah at some point, though that has been on the back burner for a few months now. Aside from this my only recent transaction involving Dreamcast games was getting an excellent deal on some Japanese games in bulk.

Nothing is as bad as that Aliens game. I ripped that sucker for PC just to try it and I only lasted a few hours before I deleted that steaming pile. GoW isn't bad - it's just very "been there, done that" feeling, and it does absolutely nothing to advance the franchise. There's nothing as remotely cool as fighting the Hydra, or Leviathan, and they've even stripped how many weapons you get. TBH I didn't even finish it - I got about 85% of the way through and just got really tired of it. Hell, the PSP GoW games are more interesting

Bought XCOM the other day and it's AAAmazing. I loved the original game and the remake is different enough to feel just as good AND fresh at the same time.

Picked up Final Fantasy X with the strategy guide and a PS2 memory card earlier. Lot of people have opinions on that game, none of them seem to match up, so I figured I'd try it out.
Also got a Dark Void promotional figure, looks so damn cool. Real shame the game wasn't finished before they released the durned thing.
