I'm not just anyone, I'm a pretty cool guy! And it was a student visa, not an immigration application. I'm not sure what problem the rejecting dude had with me. The embassy website just said that you have to fill these forms and gather these documents, which I did, and then they rejected me for no reason.

If there's one thing I've learned about Canadian bureaucracy, there's probably some small step that was missed, or some prerequisite wasn't met. From all the times I've dealt with the federal government, there's always some small thing that isn't made entirely clear that ends up biting you in the ass.
