So it sounds like you're still wearing the armor from the beginning of the game, because you're still in the beginning of the game?

I'm not talking about armor with you, the last time I did I went on a grindfest in Dragon's Dogma.
I'm definitely still in the beginning of the game (I've beaten the Taurus Demon, the Gargoyles, and the Capra Demon, and done some random exploring) but I would have expected to encounter something by now, even if it's just a lateral movement.

In other news, this Canucks/Sharks game is a blowout. 5-2 Sharks. Canucks have been so mediocre in the post season these last couple of years. Let's see if the Sharks can continue the tradition of being the team to win the Cup through the Canucks.

Now I'm trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on another auction. I can't bring myself to do it, but I really, really want to.

I have two of 7 NES consoles stripped down to just their cases. Now I'm testing out how the gold paint I got looks. Hopefully I can get some of these done and on eBay or something similar by the end of this week. Right now though I need to find an example of the Hylian alphabet. I want to do all the Power, Reset, and Nintendo Entertainment System text in Hylian. Also I want to do something nicer than just painting it gold. Since there's so much canvas on the top of the NES I wanted to maybe paint something or create a stencil to decorate it. Anybody have any ideas?

Don't know anything about this really, but after a quick look this following page says there are differences with the alphabet with different games (well, the two examples provided are different anyway):

Skyward Sword Hylian alphabet (I prefer the "cursive" look of the later games, rather than the blocky look from Ocarina/Majora, personally.

Not sure what you could use to fill the white space, but if you're doing a Zelda themed one there is tons of mythology related stuff that hasn't been beaten to death yet.

Yeah, was just checking that out. I guess the Twilight Princess alphabet is based directly on Latin and the Hylian is English. While the [url=Hylian alphabet in Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass/Minish Cap/etc... is based directly on the Japanese language(katakana). I'll have to think a little about what I want to do. I really want to use the Hylian language from the Wind waker series but I don't know what Nintendo Entertainment System would be in Hiragana. It'll just take a little poking around some J->E dictionary sites and maybe I'll shoot Elin a PM.
