I saw Pain and Gain over the weekend - I had a lot of fun with it. It's just a bank heist movie with a bunch of morons that live in muscle beach Florida, but the performances are good and pacing is well done. I'd say 3.5/5![]()
I'm guessing no magic rings in there?![]()
Watched Iron Man 3 last Friday. It was alright.![]()
I watched Fright Night (2011) last night.
Ugh.
The original was great, and this is a prime example of a movie that didn't need to be remade.
2/5
Rec (2007), firstly I can't believe there was an American remake only a year after the release of the original and I unknowingly downloaded an English dub, I would have liked it more in Spanish but other than that the film was great, I enjoyed it a lot.
Saw Iron Man 3 awhile back. Better than Iron Man 2, but still just above average. 7/10.
Saw the Star Trek: Into Darkness the other night.
I'm usually pretty wary of remake/reboots, but I thought it was enjoyable for what it was.
If you need help deciding if you should see it: http://www.grantland.com/blog/hollyw...-into-darkness
I recommend it.
The Public Enemy (1931).
James Cagney.
Original "pre-code" uncut version afaik.
For anyone that doesn't know it, or is vaguely interested:
