I am SO not going to finish this project within the next two days if I keep reading about veal cuts instead.
    So tender and delicious.

On another note playing emulators on touch screen is way nicer and easier. less pain and less mistakes.
I've played emulated games on a touch screen before, and not having tactile feedback is a huge hindrance for me. I'll save the games for the game consoles. My phone is for communication -- Twitter, newspapers, messaging, phone calls, etc. And a couple of games for my son, because they were free and why not?

'sides, I can only think of one or two games that I would want to emulate that I don't already own, and that just gives me incentive to seek them out next time I buy some old games.

It snowed about 3-4 inches in Saskatchewan today.

Nice and sunny out here as well. It's wonderful.

I grabbed the Galaxy S2 X. I'm loving it so far, but I haven't really tried to push it to its limits yet. The problem with coming into the smartphone game so late has been trying to find a starting point. There are so many apps out there to grab.
My last phone was an android, but it was a very low spec POS. So it's kinda cool actually having one that has some actual oomph. Although I really haven't downloaded much to it yet except for the Music Unlimited app for music streaming. I was thinking of trying out that Chaos Seed game by Square Enix though. It looked kinda interesting.

I can't see myself using an OSK or slide-out keyboard with any emulators. The very best way to play emulators on a smartphone(android). Is using a Wiimote and the Wiimote controller app. There's also an app that allows you to use a PS3 controller with your smartphone, but I think it has to be rooted first.

The weather up here can be very erratic around this time of year. It was around 75F last week for a few days and now it's ~50F. Last nigh it supposedly actually got down to freezing. Can't wait until the middle/end of May for some nice weather and plenty of sunshine.

I definitely need to do some research into some of the apps that are available. There's just so much out there that I don't know where to start, and I don't really know what I will actually use. My menus are still pretty much exactly the same as they were when I first got the phone. I'm still learning how to use it.

My son did delete some stuff for me the other day when he saw me getting frustrated, though... That made me feel old.

I am SO not going to finish this project within the next two days now that Elin is here...

Quick Question, Elin-chan: I am deeply crazy and have recently felt a bit superstitious about things such as the Number "4". Any advice -- given your deep knowledge of japanese culture and whatnot?

My son's favourite number is 44. Should I be worried?

Fuck this Blackhawks/Wild game is awesome. Can't wait to see if the Canucks are going to choke this year or not. Maybe without all the pressure of the President's Trophy on their back they'll focus on just playing some hockey.

There we go. Blackhawks win the first one. I'm actually really impressed with the Wild right now, though. I was disappointed when they snuck into the playoffs -- I thought the Bluejackets deserved it this year, but goddamn they are given Chicago a fight.

Better switch over to the Redwings/Ducks game now.
