How to kill El Gigante in two jumps? [Resident Evil 4/biohazard 4]

Hi there, I have a little question that I need answered.
I have been playing Resident Evil 4 recently and I heard that you can kill El Gigante in just two jumps with each jump dealing 8 slashes.
However, I have tried very hard and I am also a fast button masher, but I can only get 7 slashes.
How is this possible?
By the way, I am playing the PC version and I use a USB (PS2) controller/joystick.

(I am just curious because I am watching some mod vids and one features El Gigante being slashed 8 times.)

Why are you asking about an easy boss to kill?
You should have enough ammo by the point you fight it, so just shoot it down all 3 times.

I don't know about the PC version, but I know from experience that it's easily doable in two sequences on the GC, PS2, Wii, and 360 versions. I've finished the game at least ten times on each of those versions, and I've always been able to take it out fairly easy by just hitting the button really goddamned fast.

Please read the question thoroughly! I have beaten the game 17 times and I'm currently on the 18th round.
I'm just asking if it is possible to kill the beast with just two jumps using the knife? With each jump dealing 8 slashes, if so, how? I'm asking this because all I can manage to do is 7 slashes on its back, I have mashed the button like hell but I still can't get 8 slashes.

Well the first time I played RE4, I killed him using a non-upgraded handgun with just 10 bullets accompanied with the knife and the dog/wolf.
