So far I'm enjoying this day off, now if only the storm would quit cuttin' the power.![]()
But, at least this weekend I'm hanging out with a friend. Time to raise some hell.
AND I WILL WALK 500 MILES!!!!

Man this week's dragging. It needs to hurry up and be Saturday already.
We don't know why it was cancelled though. A lot of games get cancelled before they even get off the ground -- people just like to shit on Capcom. This is really only getting a lot of attention because it's a Mega Man title. Replace the main character with a generic cyborg-esque character and no one would have really given a shit about this cancelled prototype.
Besides, they have stated recently that they are working on something new for Mega Man but "want to make sure they have something first." This reads to me like they've been trying different gameplay styles to try and "revive" the Mega Man brand (similar to what Nintendo did with trying to find a Kirby sequel), and are searching for the one that they feel is going to take the series in a new direction while also gaining new fans.
Direct your rage at their actual shitty business decisions (all of their DLC issues, for example) rather than a cancelled prototype that was only around for six months three years ago.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
Oy, I don't think I can play this game anymore.
*rubs eyes*
Had they released it this game just would've been the Megaman equivalent of DmC.
Or, at best, the MM equivalent of Metroid Prime.
Which they already kinda-sorta have with the Battle Network subseries.
And, to a lesser extent, the Legends subseries.
The last thing MM needs is a more divided fanbase.![]()
I think a huge problem for them right now is Mega Man is no longer a premium console title like it was in its heyday. All of its recent releases have been either handhelds, or downloadable titles. I don't think the Battle Network series can be expanded to a console experience. I also don't think they can make another platformer like the original series or X series. That really leaves Legends, or a relaunch.
I could see Legends working as a console title very similar to Ratchet & Clank, and personally hope they move in that direction, but no matter what the next game looks like, it's going to be a disappointment to a subset of fans. While I would love a FPS version of MM that is similar to Metroid Prime, I think if it had been released it would have just been accused of jumping on the CoD bandwagon.
They've released so many titles, under so many different genres, and so many systems, that they are now going to alienate their fans no matter what they do. They have a successful platformer series, a successful RPG series, and a moderately successful 3D platformer/adventure game. They're basically damned if they do, and damned if they don't.
I personally would love to see Legends 3 released on console. I personally think that's the logical progression for the platformer series that I loved growing up.
Hello everyone![]()
I think it's a good day to die hard!
Looking at the run time it's only like 90 minutes, hope it's halfway decent..
