Also just got back from a walk to clear my head from staring the tv screen all day and can't believe the cars parked on the street. Must be super Saturday fun happy party night or something.

Me neither. Been gathering parts for my first gaming rig but hit a little snag when I had to go to court this week for past due med bills. Never was super interested in buying a nex-gen console. Just seemed to fragile to me for the price. Hell I still have a NES from when I was like 5 and it runs like a champ! I just don't see consoles as a long term investment like I used to.

Is it an abnormal number of cars for a weekend?

I've noticed that my apartment gets a lot louder when the Canucks are second bill on Hockey Night in Canada. They played Calgary tonight at 7PM. Also when there are UFC nights, I've noticed the visitor parking fills up rather quickly. Otherwise... yeah, it's just a regular April weekend.

Having a much easier time this time around. Definitely going for the plat, last time I just ran through the game once and said fuck it.

Done pretty good the last 4 days, completed all levels except 1-4,5-2 and 5-3 and completed all the white and dark tendency events for the first 4 worlds and made a nice dent in collecting weapons and upgrading so far too.

Very abnormal. Music blasting from every which way on my little stretch of road.

Nice. Everything is fairly straightforward and easy to do, you just have to commit the time to grinding out the upgrades and finding all the weapons and rings. The one recommendation that I have is make sure you get Foe's Ring from Mephistopheles at the end of a playthrough. You have to kill a bunch of people to get it from her, including some of the people who can change your magic and whatnot. I think a vendor as well, but don't quote me there -- I don't quite remember anymore.

Best keep an eye out for a flame-thrower wielding pissed off neighbor.

Unless of course you happen to own a flame-thrower. Or at least a leaf-blower and some flammable aerosols.

In which case you are that neighbor.

Yeah I'm gonna do it at the end of this playthrough for sure. Might be a pain to go dark though this close to the end, guess all I really have to do though is just kill a bunch of npc's, just have to look up the wiki and make sure that any rewards from her for certain ones don't get missed if they're the only way to get them.

edit: have no idea if that last part made any sense

Awesome. Have fun with it. I loved that game -- one of the few where I wasn't burned out by the end of it, although I was happy to move onto something else.

Anyways. I'm gonna find something to watch, then maybe play TWD for a couple hours before I pass out. Later all.

Aye. I guess I'll let the GF get on her little Facebook games and such. See you all in about a half a pint!
