Almost everyone I've talked to, and every review that I've read have given it rave reviews. It's sitting at a 96/100 on Metacritic right now, with a 9.1/10 user rating. I'd say that it's a pretty solid, great game.

There's your problem right there. GameFAQ is useless. Find a review aggregate, go through and read the reviews from a bunch of sites you trust, and go from there. Random people on a message board are terrible at explaining why a game isn't good, and usually the reason they are disappointed is because they overhyped the game in their head.

Looks like the Pikachu 3DS didn't last until the 30the when the sale ended. I knew it...but I am having some serious financial issues right now including but not limited to: W2 being incorrect twice, finding a part-time job after two months of looking and of course rent. Its the only thing I wanted in the whole fucking world but we can't always get what we wants.

Gamefaqs sometimes has reasonable people writing reasonable things. Emphasis on sometimes, though.
There was nerdrage on the TR boards as well, and while I understand their complaints the overall game is still not bad. I'm not saying people shouldn't be critical, being critical is great, but sometimes it's taken too far. Go play Big Rigs and then tell me Tomb Raider is a horrible POS, kthx.

Yeah, I sometimes visit some of the boards as well. It's generally not a horrible place to see what people think, but you need to know how to filter out all the bullshit.

Also, I want to know what the complaints are on Bioshock.... the game is fantastic... it's so far and beyond better than 2 it isn't even funny (and I actually liked 2). It looks great, Columbia is an awesome city, and the game actually gives me the same sense of wonder that the original did back in 2007. I'm sure I'm not the only one either.
