So anyone excited for that new Ducktales HD version?
They're bringing back all the voice actors from the cartoon, and this is basically the NES version remade with some additional tweaks and whatnot.
Ducktales 1 and 2 on the NES were awesome - 2 of the only licensed games back then that weren't shit![]()
I finally took a look at the Tomb Raider trophy guide. Looks like I'll have to do a second playthrough to grab a couple of missable trophies.Ah well.
I thought about trying to plat the game, but there are too many multiplayer related trophies and I really have no interest in playing it online. As it stands, I got pretty much all single player trophies in one play through - I missed a couple "hidden trophies" and a few that were weapon specific, but I got everything else. I'm satisfied![]()
I'll be getting the vast majority of them in one playthrough. A couple of the "trick shot" combat trophies (shoot dynamite out of the air, get an enemy to drop dynamite that kills two or more enemies, etc) I'll have to specifically aim for on my next playthrough, and the dialogue related trophy (I didn't even realize I could talk to my allies), but for the most part I'll get everything. I won't have to complete a full playthrough, so it'll just be an afternoon dedicated to getting those trophies, then I'm done.
I'll get the multiplayer trophies eventually, but I'll probably just gradually work towards them. Or wait for a Double-XP weekend or something. You have to prestige almost four times to get them all, and I don't feel like committing 30-40ish hours to multiplayer right now, when there are so many great games to be played.
Hey, this might be crazy, but does anyone remember that thread that some dude started a long time ago about how much he hated cops?
I wonder if I'd be able to find it...
I can't remember where we were having the conversation (might have been in Retro), but a couple of us basically splooged in our pants. It's a shame that some of the voice actors have passed, but I'm absolutely stoked for it. The Capcom Disney games for the NES are some of the few licensed games that were awesome. Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Chip 'n' Dale... hell, even Little Mermaid was pretty good. Darkwing Duck will always remain my favourite, though.
There's a gameplay video floating around somewhere (I can't remember what site did it) of a guy fighting Magica DeSpell. It looks pretty amazing, and while they're keeping as much as they can from the original, at the very least they've updated the boss battles and added a few extra moves. This shit is going to be awesome.![]()
Forgot to mention, I've finally gotten my own bass. No borrowing and hoping they don't ask for it back. This shit is MINE.
I need an amp, though. I've been practicing through Amplitube, which is pretty good, but it has some really, really expensive gear in it.
Because of this software, I've realized that the tone I want comes from a $3K stack (Orange AD200Mk3 head w/ Orange OBC115 cabinet).
