Oh for sure - and the fact that in TR you actually wander off the beaten path to scour tombs and treasures, and can also revisit old places with new abilities, etc...
Don't get me wrong, I still love Nathan Drake and think his stories/adventures are very well done, but in addition to the big prize in his quest he's really going to need all this fun side stuff to put the screws to the new TR franchise.
Going to be an interesting franchise battle methinks![]()
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate - 3DS.
Borderlands 2 and Farcry 3.
Both for 360.
Picked up Far Cry 2 (£6) and WRC 3 (£18) today. Had £14 credit left over, so spent a tenner. Can't complain.
Picked up Bioshock Infinite (PS3). I checked out the PC version last night, and from what I've played so far, it invokes that sense of amazement that the first game did when you were introduced to Rapture. This floating city is simply beautiful, but eerie at the same time. I only got about an hour into it, so I can't say much else, but I'm impressed so far!![]()
I also bought Bioshock Infinite today. I haven't played it yet, though. I keep telling myself I need to clear out more of my backlog first.![]()
Yeah, I'm going to try and finish Tomb Raider today, then maybe start up Infinite after the hockey game tonight, or tomorrow after I finish work. We'll see. I'm almost done with TR, but I got sidetracked completing a bunch of challenges and finding all of the caches and relics.
Stuff I bought in Tokyo today.Mostly CDs and movies, but I also bought the Wii remake of Klonoa and Shadow Hearts 2 for the PS2. I don't really play many games anymore, and haven't bought much at all since coming to Japan, but you don't come to Akihabara and not buy at least one game.

Bought Army of Two: Devil's Cartel earlier today.
Dragon's Dogma and Silent Hill Downpour.
Both for 360.
Bought Gran Turismo 5 recently, I'm liking it so far but my god the B-spec missions, all the time consumtion of races with none of the fun.![]()
