Is DS3 that bad? The 2 previous games are ok, and even though ME3 definitely isn't as good as the first 2 I wouldn't say it's terrible.

Ya, I saw that.... They'll just replace one snake-oil salesman with another. When this guy came into office he claimed was sorry about EA's past, and that $60 were too much, and that EA would innovate and bring new IP's and blah blah blah. Well, 7 years later we all see how that turned out.

Outside of the microtransactions (which I don't care about and therefore ignore), the general consensus that I've heard is that it's like RE5 to the rest of the RE games. It's not bad, but it doesn't live up to what made the previous games so great. It trades some of the trademark tension and dread in exchange for more action sequences. I haven't played the games, that's just what I've gathered from reading other people's opinions. DS2 was enough for me, I couldn't take it towards the end. Horror games are not my thing.

I would have been happy with a $30 Origin credit to spend on what I wanted. That's the least they could have done especially since retailers and Amazon were taking refunds for the game, even digital copies.
