Also my brother beat the SP campaign today, he says that while the gameplay was enjoyable it's pretty much WoL all over again as far as the plot is concerned.

Now that I think about it HotS is meant to be an expansion so you're not supposed to be able to play it without WoL so maybe they smell money.

Ah, that's right, you need WoL to play HotS. Totally forgot about that. But yeah it makes more sense that way.

Most of the world(including USA military): Date/month/year

So for most of the world it's 14.3

They announced last year that they found a particle that was in the appropriate mass range for a Higgs boson. Today, they confirmed that what they identified last year was, indeed, a higgs boson. Now they're just trying to determine if it's the one predicted in the Standard Model, or if it's one predicted in different theories beyond the Standard Model.

As I read it, it has the right mass and spin/parity for a higgs boson. This makes it merely the lightest such boson predicted by super-symmetry, while it is also right for the only higgs boson predicted by the standard model. I'm hoping for the former since it will make for a lot more science along that line of thinking, where if the latter is true, we could be on the brink of technology like the mass effect seen in the eponymous game series.
