    Default Root basics 101

    Hey peoples. So I recently upgraded my phone from P.O.S. Keyocera Zio I've had for the past 3 years to something a little less crappy, the Alcatel Authority (Respect my Authoritay! ).

    Anyways it came loaded with the usual crap that I guess people call "bloatware" (Apps that came pre-installed and can't be uninstalled). So I was just wondering if anyone here could give me some info as to what I will need to root this phone so I can get this uninstalled.

    (Edit: Got it! Almost stupid easy. All I had to do was download 2 apps from the market and a .apk called "Poot".)
