Built my girlfriend an easel this afternoon...on her dollar.
She has some money, but is working a 40+ internship that does not pay. In about 10 weeks, she will be given the title "RD" and I will still be Jazz...
Anyhow, its a decent five foot easel that was at most $5.

Totally going to finish Castlevania 3 tonight.

Also, might import FF3 for the Famicom to test out my converter. It's a pretty cheap cart that you can't get over here, which is good enough for me.

Just received my tax return today. I've been going through eBay with a fine-toothed comb ever since. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this CIB Steel Battalion for ~$96.

Nice choice. I beat the Famicom FF3 several years back, it's a good game. I just won an auction for a CIB copy of Dragon Quest IV for Famicom. Looking to get all four here soon, maybe even the SFC ones. If I can find CIB copies for a decent price, and in decent shape that is.

From the looks of it, the FC Dragon Quest games are ridiculously cheap. Like, it makes me sad to think of how much I paid for a CIB copy of Dragon Warrior IV, then see a moderate condition DQ4 CIB for like $15.

If I can manage to somehow jerry-rig a decent converter cartridge, I might consider grabbing a few more FC-exclusive games. Preferably ones that aren't too text-heavy.

Like Varun said, if you like RPGs they are great games. They're good games otherwise, but they're a bit harder to get into if you're not a huge RPG fan, like myself.

I enjoy them, but I have to take them in small doses.
