I don't know, even a cart-only can demand quite a bit of money. I would be hard pressed to spend that huge of a chunk on just a single game. Maybe if my employment changes and I start making more money. Still, I have a long way to go before I start worrying about getting a SE to complete my collection.

Cart only seems to go for around $3500. I saw a couple just before Christmas -- one was $2300 (I think) and the other was $4200, both cart only. I would have a hard time justifying it to myself, but when I'm down to that game being the last on my list, I'll cough up the dough and get it, consequences be damned.

I'll probably have to save up all of my vacation pay, tax returns and Christmas money for a year first, though.

For something like that I would most definitely be looking on NintendoAge or something. As opposed to eBay. Still, I'm sure your still going to be paying 1k-2k for it. I guess if I actually saved up some money( ) I could get it within a year or so. I'd never even think about trying to get it CIB though.

I agree with you there. A few months ago (I can't remember when, but probably around September) someone put one up for $2500, or $3000 on a payment plan. With something as rare as SE, I'd like to grab one that's been in the community.
