playing Pokemon Black on the real DS or Emulator?

I used to play White (and White 2) on an emulator, but nowadays that causes my computer to get a blue screen of death. As well as playing Dwarf Fortress, Warcraft III, Battle for Wesnoth and several other games. That aren't even supposed to be able to cause blue screens of death.

And apparently, those other blue screens I received prior to my total flip-out (which got me temp-banned here) were apparently not real BSODs, because those where just one colour. No text or anything, and resetting didn't help (unless I turned the power supply off and back on again, which, at one point, made my father think there was a power outage when a drill just stopped suddenly).

...

Man, life is unfair.

I just noticed that the previous Hang-Out is the shortest Hang-Out ever since May 2012.

Not counting ones that got locked before it got 15 posts.
Like mine. Oh well, things like that happen.
