Not that it really needs a sequel as far as the plot is concerned, but still. It would be possible.
Yeah, the X is a pretty clear reference to the red X of Xenogears, so that's a given. Nintendo's Twitter calls it a 完全新作タイトル, though whether that means that it's a game with no ties to an existing IP or simply a new title built from the ground up is anyone's guess. In any case, it's pretty clearly at least a spiritual successor to Xenoblade. And that kid toward the end bears more than a passing resemblance to Shulk. Though Takahashi has been known to do that with games that have no direct connection to one another (see also: Xenogears and Xenosaga).

Also, same character designer as Xenogears and Xenosaga Episode 1. Neat~

EDIT: Also also, I don't know if you noticed, but it appears to have a multiplayer component. Let's play together~ It will be beautiful. <3

True sequel or spiritual, it looks really promising, and that's what counts. (But if it had subtle Xenoblade references I could fanboy all over it. )

I didn't see it when I watched it for the first time, but pkt took notice of the multiplayer stuff when I showed him the video. He never played Xenoblade but I told him how the MMO-ish battle system would've worked so much better if the AI was more clever (the good old example of "if you want Melia to not be shit in battle, control her as the party leader. Otherwise forget about her.")

Oh god that would be beautiful indeed~

Too bad the Wii U is region locked. Thank you, Nintendo!

Does anyone remember the game called GUN?

I started playing it again after a few years, forgot just how fun it was .
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

    Default Dark souls wtf!

i've been playing this game called Dark souls.

its a very hard game most enemies in the game can kill you in a few hits if you don't have your timing right and dodge or block.
when you die theres consequences like loosing all your souls which you've worked hard for and souls are important they are used as currency and leveling up.
anyway i've been playing the game for hours not that many luckily, around 12 hours or so and theres a blacksmith npc in the game called andrei anyway i attacked him for some reason and he tried to kill me so i had to kill him now that hes dead he will never respawn back i've looked on the internet and hes a very important npc i will never be able to enchant my weapons with certain elements which are apparently vital for some areas which means i basically have to start a new game if i ever hope to beat it pretty lame i think after spending 12 hours (or more i think).

but basically dark souls is one of the most brutal unforgiving games i have ever played. the scenery is dark, bleak and lonely the monsters are horrific looking and extremely hard if you kill npc's you may get a nice item off them but they will remain dead never to return which is bad because they are vital in furthering yourself in the game or in strength also they are so few, i think i've come across 3 merchant/blacksmith in the entire game so far and seeing as i killed 2 of them i will probably have to start a new game.

It is a RPG game for die-hard players i think only the cream of the crop will enjoy and be able to beat this game, i doubt i ever will and i don't think i want to though i do think the world was pretty damn cool in the way of graphics and the whole dark, evil feel to the game plus the monsters looked pretty awesome too.

Default 2 great flash videos about videogames

    http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/608033 and http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/609154

the 2nd one sums up all my biggest complaints about media on the tv blaming other peoples crimes and whatnot on video games very nicely.

We've had tons of discussions on this matter before but here goes again. Sources close to Edge says the next Xbox will have "always online" DRM to combat second-hand gaming.

I am fine with always online DRM for games that have online components. (BLOPS2 multiplayer, Battlefield, Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, etc).

I have a problem with always online DRM for single player games that have nothing to do with online, or if it means you can't play the game in offline mode (something like KOA: Reckoning or Skyrim or Heavy Rain have nothing to do with online whatsoever).

Also, if there is no way to activate a game made from a used sale, that will -- in my opinion -- completely invalidates the Xbox720 as a possible purchase for me. (Do they have an official name for it yet? I know they're calling the dev kits and whatnot "Durango," but still...)

I would even be okay with a $5 activation fee for used games. If it completely blocks used games entirely, then I can guarantee I will never buy one.

Ive never been an XBOX guy, but I almost wanted a 360 because of the alleged price drop, then I hear you HAVE to get the Live account for TWO YEARS when you buy it. Fuck this company, I thought. Then I saw the Kotaku piece on Durango not playing second hand games, and oh my god, they might as well shoot themselves in the head with this.

Always being online means your console is ALWAYS on, and the 360 problems of over heating is going to repeat itself here, you can bet on that. Not to mention how high your electricity bill is going to be. YEESH!
STOP THE MADDENESS, STOP BUYING SPORTS GAMES!

Completely agrees with everything you said. Not being able to play single player games without being online is batshit insane. One of many reasons I will NEVER get Diablo 3.

No known name yet. There are rumors that it might be called "The Next Xbox"...

OMG, seriously? That is NOT what "always online" means. For as many posts and threads you've started about this topic in general, I'm absolutely shocked that you don't even have the slightest clue what you're even talking about.
