I'm pretty sure I've got most of the achievements for the standard game (I haven't checked for ages) and looted the fuck out of just about every place.
Now I just play it to kill everybody, and make random people (and chickens) attack each other.
Sometimes a dragon will pop in to say hello.

If they're really young it might be best to stick to the wired controllers and just get extensions.
Wired controllers are lighter, and the cords have a quick release anyway so there's little chance of them pulling wires out or damaging the console.

I don't know anything about ps3 really, but I thought you could get platinum without having to do everything.

The two youngest are 9 and 10. They've had wired controllers, but they end up knackered after having the cord wrapped around the controller.

It's a good thing I don't have kids

They should be ok with the wireless ones, I just thought they might be a little heavy.
I seem to recall them being heavier than 360 wireless controllers...but maybe I'm just more accustomed to the extra weight now

All the main quest and guild quests have to be finished, I large amount of shouts have to be found (not sure how many there are in total though)

Oh and all the daedric quests have to be completed also. I'm sure there has to be stuff in the game now covered by the achievement/trophy list, but I've like 130 hours racked up. So I've had my fill of the land of Skyrim anyway.

Your achievement list will update to show the dlc trophies whether you have the dlc or not. The thieves guild is long and boring. Boring boring boring.
