Went to the Celebration of Lights at the park. Walked around and looked at all the luminaries, and took a horse-drawn carriage ride.

    Good stuff

I enjoy it for the potential that it has, especially for the first game using this engine. I wasn't really paying that much attention to the story, but the ending still pissed me off. It was also getting extremely repetitive at the end.

It was still fun, but I'm hoping whatever they release using this engine next is a helluva lot better.

As it stands, we still have 2 gifts in transit.
    Guess it'll be next Saturday...
    I wanted toys.
From the sounds of it, I'm going to be spending Christmas Day alone again.

And I won't have any toys to play with.

You reminded me of this clip here.

I can't embed it 'cause it's linked to the part of the routine that's relevant.

If it makes you feel any better, I have to work on Christmas Eve, which pretty much guarantees that I'll sleep through most of Christmas.

Sucky man, I'd come visit if I could.

At least you'll be getting some new NES games for your collection.

Thankfully I don't have to do that. My dad had to do that a few times when I was a kid. He was always haggard by the time we woke him up Christmas morning. After like an hour's sleep.

If I get really lucky, I'll get a pity invite to my sister-in-law's parent's house. Again. =(

I might have to spend Christmas playing through TMNT2 or Ninja Gaiden II. It'll be an evening to make Elmdor proud.

Which reminds me, I have two days off and a 2-6 of rye sitting in my cupboards.

I remember seeing that when I was a kid, and whenever someone says "stung" I think about it.

I think I've been adopted by a cat. Its not brave enough to stay in the house which is good because its against our rent agreement, but I feed it outside and he/she seems to be happy
