I don't see why anyone is upset about this. People have whined for years that Lucas is ruining Star Wars and someone else should have a shot at it. In reality Disney are probably one of the few companies with enough clout, resources and dare I say common sense to see it's done properly. They know what they've got on their hands and they know what can be done with it. Even Marvel post Disney buyout are arguably in better shape than they've been in years. Avengers movie, anyone?

People is silly. They said the same when Disney bought Marvel and since then I haven't heard of any interference from Disney neither in Marvel Comics nor in Marvel Productions. Both are doing fine, especially the latter. Disney, even without having the rights for all the biggest franchises from Marvel to make movies, is doing things much better than Warner with DC Comics IPs.
