Anime is different type of "art" compared to western "art". I believe its in its form of animation. This topic is kinda hard to explain for me

I'll put this in a nutshell.

Anime is made for = Children, Teens and Adults
Cartoon's is made for 95 percent of the time= Children but Teens get's some things here and there (Family guy Etc).

When i hear the word cartoon, its sounds like a child orientated type of art
