    Default So I'm in the market for a tablet...

    I was doing research on tablets (I had narrowed it down to the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer) when suddenly...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whOh2n8CquA I stumbled across this.

    Uh. Excuse me? PS2 games on the go? Yes please.

    I realize that it's because of this https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...e.pad.v2&hl=en app, and my current rig IS PCSX2-capable, but I know how touchy remote-play software can be, so I guess I'm just wondering, is this viable, or is this Youtuber lying to me? Which tablet would get me the most bang for my buck, as it were?

    Mega Man Legends 3 Fan Project!
    We're back, baby. I'd love if someone could help me read this.

    Well, I have/had a Nexus 7 and yes, with splashtop you can do that on a nice internal network, which this guy is probably pulling off. However, on a 3G connection this is not really that much of a nice experience.

    However, PS1 games and ported PS2 games are 100% playable. The nexus 7 has a tegra 3 CPU+GPU, which means it's THE mobile processor to play all games with that are on the market now. GTAIII, All PS1 games and other very nice shooters like Shadowrun and Dead Trigger.
    The app that you need to use to pair your dualshock 3 controller with is sixaxis controller; there's a test and pair app which is free and the full control is paid. If you can't pay for it on any way, it's possible to 'alternatively' download it, but please it's just 1,50 and the devver is just a student and a really cool guy. Not a major company or anything. Even non-PS games are played very nicely with the PS3 controller with the touch input; there are profiles which you can load which mimics your touch, like you have a lot of onscreen controls like in shadowrun, and the profiles work FLAWLESSLY.
    FPSe is the PS1 emulator app to go for. Works the best, however I wouldn't care if you'd alternatively download that app, the devver is a prick.

    Before taking your nexus anywhere. Be sure to BUY A CASE. It shatters on nearly any impact, this is how mine currently looks without any touchscreen input at all.

    And it doesn't support any other video connection than just with the Nexus Q tv-ish thingy, so you won't be able to hook it up to a bigger screen. This isn't really that necessary though since you use it more for mobile gaming rather than at home, where you have your desktop

    No really, if you do, buy a case with it and don't make it drop.

    Casual games that rely on touch input but are really good;

    As a question to your answer; no, it's not possible to play KH on the go (yet), however, you won't buy anything bad with the Nexus 7. Go for the 32GB version though, 16 fills up really quickkly
