The ONE THE ONLY Complete Air Raid Ever Found - CIB
I think that's quite possibly the stupidest thing they can do.
There's a difference between "not being bothered by piracy" and going out of their way to actively help them steal their game. One of the biggest deterrents to pirating games is that sometimes it takes so much work to get them working that it's discouraging (this is not always the case, but it does happen). When those kinds of errors and whatnot come up, that's just as good for anti-piracy as any kind of DRM that could exist, for those select few people who were effected by the errors.
I'm glad the they are receptive to the fact that their game is going to end up on TPB and realize that they don't have to send cease and desist letters to everyone involved, but they shouldn't have to resort to running a customer service call via the comments section of a freaking torrent. What they should have done, in my opinion, is pop into those comments, tell them, "Thanks for the great input, guys. For those of you who are having trouble with "error code whatever," just wanted to let you know that we're working on a patch right now that will fix those problems and any other problems that might come up in the future. If you head over to <insert-link-to-site-store> and buy the game you can get the patch as soon as it comes available. Here, have a 10% discount, too, since I know how frustrating it can be to get a game that doesn't work right. In the mean time, thanks for the great comments, and keep the bug reports coming. We're working hard to make this a game that everyone wants to buy and play."
That's what I would have liked to see, anyways. This idea that game devs have to suck the cocks of torrent sites and their users is ridiculous and sad, and quite honestly it makes me lose all hope for future generations of devs.
Just read about the recent leak of PS3's LV0 keys which would make it possible to run custom firmware of recent and all future OFW. Prerequisite is still owning a PS3 model with OFW/CFW 3.55 or one that is downgradable to that firmware version. It seems that only a hardware overhaul can fix the security hole in Sony's console now:

Pretty neat piece of history, but I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it.
